Our team of face fitters provide a face fit service to companies and groups across the UK, and to individuals on our open face fit days at our headquarters in West Sussex. You can meet the Face Fit Testing team below.
My name is Shaun Jackaman and I am the managing director of Face Fit Testing UK, along with our sister companies, Alpha Training Safety Solutions Limited, and Rescue2 Ltd.
I have over 20 years full time Front Line Emergency Service experience. I have worked in various specialist training roles within the Emergency Services in areas such as Confined Spaces, Breathing Apparatus, Compartment Fire Behaviour training, Specialist Road Traffic Collision and Trauma Care.
I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with so many dedicated and professional colleagues and friends with both the Fire and Rescue Service and my subsequent companies. When I am not working, I enjoy spending valuable time with my family, Titch (the cat who thinks he is a dog) and our gorgeous Australian Labradoodles, Angus and Girty.
I am very excited to have joined Face Fit Testing UK, alongside Alpha Training and Rescue 2 in a role that will be supporting these growing businesses. In my role, I am responsible for the management and development of our teams; along with working with our Clients and Suppliers.
My background in management spans over 20 years, working in both the public and private sectors; managing dedicated teams who support clients with their specific requirements.
In my spare time I design and make jewellery using silver and semi-precious gemstones. I also love travelling (to see friends) and baking cheese straws!
I first became involved in working for Alpha Training after leaving university, I wanted to take a year off to decide which career direction I wanted to go in and I’ve been with the company ever since! Since then I have started working for our new comapnies, Face Fit Testing UK, and Rescue 2.
I really enjoy the work that I do for Face Fit Testing UK, especially interacting with our clients, receiving great feedback about our services and work here is a real buzz.
In my spare time I like to relax at home with my husband, daughter, and our two cats, I love all thing’s outdoors and I enjoy mountain biking and going to the gym. As a company some of us recently cycled 75 miles off road from London to Brighton for the British Heart Foundation. It really was an amazing experience and we hope to do something similar again soon.
My responsibilities include running the financial aspects of the business, banking and cash flow, looking after any legal matters including premises, vehicle administration and purchasing.
I joined Alpha Training when Rescue 2 Ltd was launched in May 2012 and have seen the companies continue to grow. I have learnt that Health and Safety of people is a key milestone for all serious companies and I am proud to be involved with Face Fit Testing UK, Alpha and Rescue 2 in helping businesses to achieve their goals.
Prior to Alpha, I worked for a major bank, the last 16 as ‘an old fashioned’ Bank Manager and some years before the crash I up skilled myself for my new career in company finance, an area I have been involved ever since
I am married with two independent boys (men) one runs the family business which we have owned for 12 years now.
My wife and I live down on the Sussex coast having spent 12 months completely refurbishing our new home. In my time away from the business I am a keen touring cyclist, winter is taken up playing league badminton and playing my tenor saxophone. I have a keen interest in most forms of sport, playing and watching. Love travelling.
Hi, my name is Neal. I joined Face Fit Testing UK and Rescue 2 in 2016 as Equipment lead – to take control and maintain the vast array of technical safety equipment used by the rescue teams, and also by our training company, Alpha Training. I also deal with logistics – making sure the right equipment and vehicles are in the right place at the right time.
I also work with Face Fit Testing UK as a fit tester, and travel around the country providing fit tests to individuals and business across the UK.
I spent six years working in the emergency services as a firefighter, and prior to that spent some considerable time in the vehicle repair industry. This past experience combines well in my position at the Alpha Group.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors – getting away with my partner in our campervan, and take part in many outdoor pursuits. These include mountaineering, rock climbing, kayaking, cycling – and my main passion, scuba diving.
Hi, I’m Jeremy. I joined Face Fit Testing as a fit tester, and travel around the country providing fit tests to individuals and business across the UK.
I also work as a retained Firefighter, and bring with me a wealth of experience having worked as a firefighter, crew manager and driver.
With my wife, I own and run holiday accommodation in the picturesque town of Arundel, and have also worked in the past as a plumber and bathroom fitter, a technical sales specialist, and have served as a Town Councilor.
In my spare time, I enjoy cycling (mountain and road), running and motorcycling.
My role includes Face Fit Testing around the country providing fit tests to individuals and business across the UK. I also assist the Equipment and Logistics Lead, with the maintainance and servicing of the huge array of equipment, ensuring the Alpha Group of companies and the trainers have correct and suitable equipment for each job.
Working at Face Fit Testing UK, Alpha Training and Rescue 2, came out of nowhere really but as soon as I heard about the opportunity I knew it would be something I would really enjoy doing.
Dealing with all the various equipment that the company uses I find endlessly interesting and I can’t wait to expand my knowledge in all areas of the companies ever evolving needs, learn some new skills on the way and hopefully help some people in the process, but with the great team of people they have here I’m sure there will be no end as to what they can teach me.
While I’m not working I enjoy being outside, working out, heading down to Cornwall to go surfing (one day I will move there) and taking part in various and obscure extreme sports, however an evening in playing video games or binge watching Game of Thrones is never a bad option in my book.
